Program Overview
The Master of Arts in Public Theology at Abide University prepares students to engage theological reflection with public life, social issues, and civic discourse. Our RCSAI-accredited curriculum integrates public theology, political theology, social ethics, and public engagement to equip students with comprehensive skills for bringing Christian perspectives into the public square. Students develop expertise in theological analysis of social issues, ethical reasoning for public policy, interfaith dialogue, and effective communication of theological insights to diverse audiences. The program emphasizes both rigorous theological scholarship and practical application, preparing graduates to serve as thoughtful Christian voices in academic, ecclesial, and public contexts. This degree serves students seeking to integrate faith and public life, prepare for ministry in socially engaged contexts, pursue doctoral studies in theology or ethics, or develop vocations at the intersection of church and society.
